About

software4pro is a one-person test bench for VPNs and everyday software.

Alex

Founder and lead tester

Alex ran software4pro as a software deals site from 2015 to 2022. He now runs every test on this site himself.

The history of this site

software4pro.com started in 2015 as a site listing discounts on desktop software. In 2026 it was rebuilt from scratch around hands-on testing: fewer products, each one installed and measured, with the results published in full.

Independence

We buy the software we test. Companies never see a review before it is published. We earn commissions on some links, and you can read exactly how that works in our affiliate disclosure.
